Joseph McGeachy
of The Legendary Intruders Band
( Flight To Destiny )

In Honor of our dear friend, Peace Be Upon You Geach We Will Miss You Dearly,
The Legendary Intruders

On Friday Morning May 29, 2009 The Legendary Intruders and Flight To Destiny our Band, lost a very good friend and intricate part of The Legendary Intruders Family. Joseph (Geach) McGeachy.

As a friend Geach would give you the shirt off his back without a moments hesitation, he was there to give you encouragement when you needed it, a vote of confidence when you needed it, or just a friendly smile that you needed just at the right moment you needed it. We thank him for all the love that he gave us and we will miss him deeply. As a member of
Flight To Destiny his peers and friends Geach played so skillfully and pleasingly to the ears, The Tenor Sax.
Geach rest in peace our brother, We Love You.

The Intruders thrilled fans around the world for many years.  They did this through a smooth blend of harmonies and unison that gave them their own unique style.  The songs of the original Intruders were of the era when songs had words that made you, feel, think and fall in love.

Three of the four men who now make up The Legendary Intruders, were hand picked by the last performing original and founding member of the Original Intruders, the late Mr. Fred Daugherty. Fred and these three men were carrying on this tradition until his death, "Rest in peace Fred, we love you". Mr. Daugherty taught them the style, sound and ways of The Intruders. The fourth gentleman was picked by the other three and taught the same.

These are the true Intruders of today left by Fred and his baby brother and original 1st Tenor of The Intruders the late Eugene (Bird) Daugherty to their cousin Lee Bradley to carry on the legacy and tradition of the Original Intruders.

The Legendary Intruders as they are called now, paying homage to the original group is"

Lee Bradley (1st Tenor)

Gregory Fuller (2nd Tenor)

Harland McKenzie (Baritone)

Johnny P. Waiters (Lead)

The group is currently selecting new material for our upcoming album in addition to completing

the recording of "Rain man" that was about 85% completed at the time of Fred's untimely death

to pay tribute to our family, friend and mentors the late Fred and Eugene Daugherty.

Thank You Fred and Bird.
